The Institute of Medical Chemistry (IQM), created in 1973, is an Institute of the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC), belonging to the Department of Science and Chemical Technologies, which is located in the Center of Organic Chemistry "Manuel Lora-Tamayo ". The research activity of IQM, framed in the field of R & D Pharmaceutical aims the design and synthesis of new drugs. The training of research staff and collaborating with pharmaceutical companies are also activities in the late IQM. The result of their work is reflected in publications, patents, doctoral theses and doctoral courses and specialization.
