DRSC at Harvard Medical School

Therapeutic Approaches: Small Molecules

Therapeutic Areas of Expertise: Metabolic Disorders, Neurological Disorders, Oncology, Regenerative Medicine

Center/Program Highlights:

Originally founded in 2003 to support RNAi screening in Drosophila cells, the DRSC has grown to include support for functional genomics screens in fly cells and in vivo, as well as for a number of bioinformatics analyses and visualization relevant to multiple model species and the human genome. We specialize in using Drosophila cells and in vivo for conserved gene function discovery, including for disease-relevant projects. We also have experience with in vivo drug screening using Drosophila models of disease, including in 96-well format, and support automated high-content image-based projects.
