A free way for academic drug discovery teams to showcase projects to industry, foundations, and investors.
Moving a promising academic project toward the clinic takes partners: a pharma collaborator, a CRO, a foundation, or an investor. IMPACT is ADDC's curated collection of member projects, each summarized in a consistent, non-confidential format so potential partners can quickly see the target, the hypothesis, the stage, and what you're looking for.
It takes about 10 minutes, and you can save and finish later.

What you'll need
Share non-confidential information only
Describe your project the way you would in a public talk or poster. Don't include unpublished structures or anything your tech transfer office considers confidential.
- Project title (20 words max)
- Target or pathway, and therapeutic area
- Therapeutic hypothesis (100 words max)
- Stage of the project and type of technology
- How your approach differs from existing ones
- Patent status and partnering goals
- Your tech transfer contact (optional)

Frequently asked
Will submitting affect my IP?
IMPACT asks only for non-confidential information, the same level of detail you'd share in a public presentation. If you've filed a patent, just tell us so. We recommend letting your tech transfer office know you're submitting.
Is this the same as a poster abstract?
No. Poster abstracts are submitted separately through the abstract submission page. You're welcome to do both: many projects make a strong poster and a strong IMPACT pitch.
Do I need to be an ADDC member?
IMPACT showcases ADDC member projects. Not a member yet? Join ADDC. Individual memberships are $30 a year, drug discovery centers can enroll up to 10 people, and students join free.
Can I update a project I submitted before?
Yes. Submit the form again with your latest data and note that it's an update. Projects submitted in earlier years are welcome to be considered for 2027.
Does it cost anything?
No. Submitting to IMPACT is free.
